  Colluded with opposing lawyer, withdrew from case without notification. I had to pay the court money due to Steven's corrupt behaviour. I don't use a real name in order to protect myself, so Steven, you won't remember me but my friends and family remember you, and I pray that this review is not deleted as the last one was. People need to know that you take the money and run.

  I looked on line to grab Attorney Barnett's number as my cell phone was recently replaced. It was very surprising to see such negative postings about Attorney Barnett. Attorney Barnett has been our family's lawyer for over 10 years. He has helped us in many aspects of the law from civil to criminal, and even simple legal representation. He is a straight forward professional, with years of experience. Not once did my family and I feel that we were misguided, mistreated, ill-informed, or neglected. Attorney Barnett kept open communication with us at all times. His firm has email, fax, and telephone access with appropriate response times. He has traveled to represent us within the state of Virginia, and has gone above and beyond in many ways that other attorneys would not. I hope when other prospective clients read these reviews, they make their own educated judgment and decision.
